Dr. Hernan Londono currently serves as Lenovo’s Chief Technology and Innovation Strategist. He is a distinguished leader in technology and education, known for his expertise in innovative academic solutions, cybersecurity, and strategic technology advancement. With over two decades of experience as a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in higher education, he has a proven track record of driving impactful change.
Dr. Londono has served as Chief Technology and Innovation Strategist at Dell Technologies, where he led transformative educational initiatives. He has also been a trusted advisor for several prominent cybersecurity organizations, including Vectra, Cyphort, and SANS Securing the Human.
His dedication to advancing technology and education is evident through his active involvement on various advisory boards, such as the FBI-InfraGard South Florida Advisory Board, the Alan B. Levan Innovation Center’s Advisory Board, Florida International University’s ATOM Think Tank, and the National Applied AI Consortium (NAAIC). Additionally, he is a valued member of the Industry Advisory Board for Florida Atlantic University’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
Dr. Londono is a published author, contributing to works on AI, cybersecurity, and educational technology. His visionary leadership has earned him numerous accolades, including the Barry University Visionary Award of Excellence, the South Florida Digital Alliance’s Digital Advancement and Excellence Award for Education, and Dell Technologies’ Game Changer Award.
Academically, Dr. Londono holds a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science and Information Technology from Barry University, a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern University, and a Post-Doctorate Certificate from Harvard Business School, focusing on AI in business competitiveness.
